homes and interiors

Our projects focus on residential, commercial,
and interior design including renovations, refurbishments and completely new spaces. We use the principles of design complemented with traditional and modern design elements to create homes and spaces you will be proud of.

Dag acquired a taste for designing at an early age, while working at his father's (and at that time, his grandfather's) company, M. Mothe and Sons. Dag learned the art of craftsmanship from his father and grandfather who were both true European designers, renovators, and home builders, who have been constructing and renovating homes in the Lower Mainland for over 40 years. While working with his father, Dag learned how to develop designs, and build houses -- growing to love residential design. He also learned to have strong work ethics and values.

This practical education led Dag to continue
with formal training at Langara College and then Ontario's College of Art in Toronto. With his formal education, Dag was able to develop his skills in the principles of design.

In 1988, Dag apprenticed with Jacobsen Design Group, a large commercial interior design company based in Vancouver, BC. While there, he worked on projects with HY Louie Company, London Drugs, Overwaitea-Save-on-Foods, and Realty World, Toronto. In addition, he also designed other high-end residential projects. While at Jacobsen Design, Dag also spent some time in a millwork shop, assembling manufactured cabinets and custom pieces of furniture designed by Jacobsen's. This helped Dag to better understand the principles and practicality of design.
